The 4th of July might be over, but who says we can't wear red, white, and blue all week or maybe even summer? I mean, the Olympics are coming!

I created my version and made it something I would wear. Here is my outfit crush!!

J. CREW button down denim shirt with rolled sleeves, cream tribal embellished mini skirt, Jessica Simpson Camille Sandal, braided hip belt from MetroParkUSA.com, BIG BUDDA cross body purse (maybe I should have gone with a more simple purse but I fell in love with this one), Stella & Dot gold bangles, and Stella & Dot royal blue and gold drop earrings.   

What I am most excited about today is my new purse!! I ordered it on Saturday and it was waiting for me at my front door when I got home from work yesterday.

Rock the White

Has anyone ever noticed that when you wear white, your chances of spilling something increase by about 1,472%? No, seriously. 

 

This Friday I am trying something new and linking up for the first time with Long Distance Loving for Friday’s Fancies #79. The theme is Rock the White. 

I know everyone says it’s fine to wear white year round now and that “Winter White” is perfectly acceptable. I have no issue with anyone else wearing white throughout the year. I however, still stand by the “no white from the waist down after Labor Day and before Easter”. I get so excited the weekend of Easter when I can dig all my white clothes out of my closet (yes, dig)!! 

For today’s Friday’s Fancies: Rock the White, I chose to go with an always classic black and white stripe shirt by ENZA COSTA, EMPORIO ARMANI white linen pants, 4” heels by TIBI, and I paired the look with turquoise jewelry by STELLA & DOT (FYI – this is my current favorite jewelry line).
